Parquet Selection

Radial parquet

Top-grade selected parquet of radial sawing (sawing plane goes through the stem radius or 60 degrees of the axis perpendicular). Blocks are homogeneous by wood color and texture, they are slightly refreshed by the rays coming out on the surface of parquet stave. Wood grains look like parallel rays.

Tangential parquet

Top-grade selected parquet of tangential sawing only (sawing plane goes at a tangent to annual ring of the stem). Arch pattern of annual rings can be seen on staves. Tangential parquet has vivid deep structure formed by intersection of annual rings, wood grains look like wavy lines. Flaws and wood damages are not allowed.

Natural parquet

Parquet not selected by sawing that has natural wood pattern and staves of both radial and tangential sawing. Such kind of parquet cannot have saps, medullary spot and mechanical damages. Such parquet has the same perfect proportions and quality as radial and tangential parquets have.

Markant parquet

First quality class parquet not selected by sawing. It has staves of radial and tangential patterns and staves made of the central part of wood with substantial color differential. This sort allows light and dark sound knots, slope of grain, medullary spot. Contraction cracks, mechanical damages and sap are not allowed.

Rustic parquet

First quality class parquet not selected by sawing. It has staves of radial and tangential patterns and staves made of the central part of wood with substantial color differential. This sort allows sound knots, sap, slope of grain, cracks not coming out on the surface of parquet stave, mechanical damages, and ditches not deeper than 1.5 mm
